Clinical supervision. Regular meetings with clinicians that give them the opportunity to reflect on their practice and with the support of my extensive knowledge in supporting Children and Young People with various and complex needs, reach higher level of quality service. A space to listen and discuss concerns and ideas related to clinical practice but also talk about the emotional impact of our work considering the high level of demand there is to health professions. Sharing experiences gives an opportunity to clinicians to progress and improve their ability to manage the needs of their caseload and be able implement best and evidence-based practice.
Leadership support. Giving the opportunity to clinical managers and leaders to discuss matters related to their leadership and management style, systemic changes and how those may support the improvement of their service, problem solve together day to day managerial issues of their services in order to reach higher levels of quality managerial support. With my experience as manager of various health services and my high involvement in service improvement projects gives the opportunity to the supervisees to explore and identify solutions and improvements that fit their service.
Clinical Mentorship. A space where health professionals have the opportunity to discuss their aspirations, their practice and their experiences aiming at developing further their skills, identifying ways and ideas to take their career to the next level. A great way to identify professional goals, bring new ideas to the light and discuss your dreams as a professional.
School/teachers training. Confident school staff is key to support their day to day needs at school. I work closely with the network of the Child or Young Person offering high quality, detailed and practical training and support aiming at increasing their confidence in working with learners with SEN and their ability to identify and problem solve daily issues that might occur.
Teacher consultation. This is a space where teachers can discuss with us their concerns related to the learners with SEN they support. Together we will find solutions that are accepted by the school and are tailored to the needs of the learners.
Case Advisor. The opinion of a Clinical Advisor may be asked in assessments and investigations of complains. Clinical advisers act impartially and provide clear and robust advice relevant to legislation, policies and guidance, professional standards and clinical guidelines which applied at the time of the events complained about.
